At a 6% net margin (what Romanian hotels and restaurants averaged in 2025) a refunded order costs you its full value, so one refund wipes out the profit of about 17 orders like it.[5]
Glovo charges the partner the full cost of an order it deems incomplete, wrong or poor quality.[6]
The same Glovo clause allows a penalty of up to 30% of the product value on top.[6]
Glovo calculates its fee without deducting customer refunds.[6]
A formal complaint to Glovo is only possible within one calendar month.[6]
Why the app won’t protect you
Delivery apps are built around the customer. Here is what their own partner terms say, and what changes when every complaint photo is checked.
Delivery app: The app, at its own discretion[7][8]
With FraudBite: Still the app, but you answer with evidence
Delivery app: You, from your payout. On Glovo, plus up to 30%, and the commission is still charged[6]
With FraudBite: You see what each complaint and each month costs
Delivery app: Not described in the public partner terms
With FraudBite: Every photo: score, heatmap and reasons
Delivery app: Whatever you put together yourself
With FraudBite: A PDF report per complaint, and the full history
Delivery app: Glovo: one calendar month. Wolt: two weeks for payout errors[6][8]
With FraudBite: A check takes about a minute
Delivery app: Each app sees only its own orders
With FraudBite: Every complaint in one place: any app, phone or WhatsApp
Based on the platforms’ public partner terms as of September 2026. FraudBite is not affiliated with Glovo, Wolt, Bolt Food or any delivery platform; names are used only to describe their terms.

No detector is right every time, and we won’t quote you a magic percentage. Independent research shows every current tool gets weaker on small, blended edits, and a genuinely burnt or damaged dish can look suspicious. That’s why FraudBite gives you a score plus the heatmap and the reasons, so you can weigh them against the order and the customer’s history before you refund or contest.
It can happen: a genuinely burnt dish can look suspicious to any detector. That’s why FraudBite shows the marked areas and the reasons, not only a score: you judge, with the order and the customer’s history in front of you. When in doubt, refund. The goal is to stop the fakes, not to fight real complaints.
Yes, whenever you have the photo: save it from the dispute, the chat, the email or the review and upload it. FraudBite analyses the image itself, so it doesn’t matter where it came from. Not every app shows restaurants the customer’s photo (Glovo in Romania stopped in October 2024), which is why your own pass photo of each order matters too.
You can attach the PDF report (the score, the marked areas and the metadata findings) to your reply to the platform or your bank. They still make the decision, but a documented, technical answer is far harder to dismiss than “the food was fine”.
Your photos and results are stored in Google Cloud’s EU region (Frankfurt) for as long as your account exists or until you delete them. For the analysis itself, each photo is uploaded to TruthScan’s storage in New York (USA). TruthScan keeps its copy under its own terms and uses the photos it receives to train and improve its detection models, so deleting a photo in FraudBite doesn’t remove TruthScan’s copy. Crop out names, addresses or faces before you upload. You can ask us to delete everything we hold at any time at [email protected].
